Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join the finance team at Camertronix’s Yaoundé office. In this full‑time position you will support day‑to‑day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy of our financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger entries and process invoices.
• Assist with payroll data entry and preparation of basic financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements, monitor accounts receivable and payable.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Organise financial documentation and aid in budgeting and cash‑flow tracking.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide timely financial information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of double‑entry bookkeeping and basic financial statements.
• Attention to detail and strong accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work on‑site in Yaoundé, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn local tax and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Experience with accounting software and ability to learn new financial tools quickly.
