Volunteer Systems, Performance and Digital Transformation Expert

About the role

Ecological Balance Cameroon is seeking a volunteer Systems, Performance and Digital Transformation Expert to help the organization shift from ad‑hoc, person‑dependent processes to a structured, systems‑driven operation. This role supports the organization’s growth by creating clear workflows, standard operating procedures and accountability mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Map existing organisational workflows and processes across programmes.
• Identify gaps, duplications and bottlenecks that hinder efficiency.
• Document key systems and develop simple process maps.
• Standardise workflows and create SOPs, checklists and approval pathways.
• Define clear responsibilities and support the implementation of new systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in systems analysis, process improvement or organisational development, preferably in NGOs or community‑based projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex activities into clear documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to work with staff and volunteers across different programmes.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.
