Accountant – Manufacturing Finance Operations

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations at our manufacturing facility in Cameroon. The role will involve managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring statutory compliance, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and manage entries up to finalization.
• Handle Accounts Payable: process vendor invoices, payments and reconciliations.
• Handle Accounts Receivable: issue customer invoices, track collections and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage tax filings and statutory financial documentation in line with local regulations.
• Assist in audits by providing required financial data.
• Coordinate with finance and administrative teams to improve accounting accuracy.
• Monitor factory‑related expenses, inventory accounting and cost records.
• Support additional administrative and finance‑related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Prior accounting experience strongly preferred; exposure to African or international accounting environments is a plus.
• Fluency in Hindi and English (spoken and written).
• High attention to detail, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as ERP, Tally or SAP.
