About the role

The Architectural Sales Representative will drive profitable growth and expand market presence for Apogee Architectural Metals across the Southwest territory. Working closely with architects, contractors, distributors and owners, you will position our metal systems early in the design and specification process.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory plans in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Identify, qualify and pursue project opportunities, driving specification activity and brand presence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, glazing contractors, owners, distributors and strategic partners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle, guiding product selection and delivering presentations, lunch‑and‑learns and AIA‑accredited sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal estimating, engineering, operations, marketing and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain active pipelines and CRM data, provide market feedback and support forecasting.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows and customer meetings.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales, specification or architectural experience.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and manage strategic accounts.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with architects and construction professionals.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline and activity management.
