Asset & Service Purchase Supervisor

About the role

The Asset & Service Purchase Supervisor will lead the service procurement function for PT Vaksindo Satwa Nusantara, ensuring cost‑effective acquisition of all required services while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of procurement specialists focused on service purchases.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and budgets.
• Manage the full procurement cycle: vendor selection, negotiation, contract finalisation, and performance monitoring.
• Conduct due‑diligence, risk assessments and evaluate potential service providers.
• Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing to achieve cost savings.
• Prepare, manage and ensure compliance of service contracts.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues and foster collaborative relationships.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand service requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts and vendor data.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulations and new technologies related to service procurement.
• Prepare performance and cost‑saving reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven track record in negotiation and contract management.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, legal aspects of contracts and vendor management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
