Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing and enriching backend‑focused datasets. In this role you will evaluate code samples, system designs and workflows, providing structured feedback that helps improve AI models that understand backend engineering concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows.
• Label datasets that capture scalability, performance and reliability criteria.
• Validate server‑side logic, performance metrics and security standards.
• Provide clear engineering reasoning and structured evaluation reports.
• Review database queries, authentication mechanisms and microservice interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security and secure coding practices.
