Bilingual (French-English) Travel Associate

About the role

Our client seeks a bilingual French-English Travel Associate to provide after-hours, high-touch support to travelers facing urgent itinerary changes, hotel billing questions, and complex booking updates. Working remotely, you will handle inbound requests via phone, email, text and chat, ensuring clients receive timely, accurate travel documentation and advice.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to client inquiries across phone, email, text and chat channels.
• Provide same-day itinerary confirmations and accurate travel documents.
• Research solutions and make decisions that balance client needs with business requirements.
• Coordinate urgent or complex travel bookings and manage hotel reservation confirmations and billing.
• Make outbound calls to hotel partners to verify reservations.
• Document client issues for follow-up and future reference.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services and promotions.
• Support additional projects and assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Full fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
• 3+ years experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Manager.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Sabre GDS.
• Flexible availability for weekends, evenings, overnights and holidays (Pacific Time).
• Strong problem-solving mindset, punctuality and dependability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sabre GDS.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Competence in Microsoft Word.
