Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term – Yaoundé, Cameroon

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a senior Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) to lead supply chain operations for its country office in Yaoundé. The role involves overseeing the full spectrum of supply activities, from planning and procurement to distribution and monitoring, ensuring that programme needs are met efficiently and in line with humanitarian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Supply section, supervising procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, in‑country transport and distribution.
• Deliver supply chain services for routine operations and emergency response, ensuring timely availability of goods and services.
• Collaborate closely with programme teams and implementing partners to define supply interventions that support child‑focused results.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government and national systems on supply chain management.
• Drive innovation in products, markets and logistics processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health or a related field (or a relevant bachelor’s degree with professional certification).
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience at national and international levels in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting or related technical fields.
• Strong understanding of development and humanitarian contexts.
• Proven ability to resolve complex, sensitive situations under pressure and to lead change in diverse environments.
