Bilingual Recruitment Officer – 3‑Month Contract

About the role

Dicalo Consulting Group (DCG) is seeking a bilingual Recruitment Officer for a three‑month temporary contract in Douala, Cameroon. The role supports the recruitment team in delivering high‑quality services and meeting client hiring needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from posting to candidate selection.
• Collaborate with clients to understand job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
• Draft, review, and publish job ads on relevant platforms.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, professional networks, and databases.
• Screen CVs, shortlist candidates, and conduct initial interviews.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and clients.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates, providing updates throughout the process.
• Provide professional client service, responding promptly to requests and aligning activities with expectations.
• Conduct reference checks and assist with background verification when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum three years of HR experience, including at least one year as a recruiter.
• Full professional fluency in French and good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in hardware, building materials, construction, or related industry is an asset.
