Community Manager / Videographer (Remote)

About the role

Yellow Factoring helps small and medium-sized enterprises in Cameroon and the wider CEMAC region access immediate cash flow through digital solutions. It is hiring a remote Community Manager / Videographer based in the Douala urban community. The person manages and grows the company's online and offline community, engages SMEs and partners through social media and events, and produces video content explaining services and showcasing client success stories.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the online and offline community, engaging SMEs and partners through social media, events and digital channels
• Plan and produce video content: filming, editing and publishing across platforms
• Monitor community feedback and respond to enquiries
• Coordinate content calendars and collaborate with marketing and product teams
• Keep brand messaging consistent and track engagement metrics to suggest improvements

Required profile

• Bilingual French and English
• At least 1-3 years of experience as a community manager or video editor (basic editing)
• Experience in videography: planning shoots, filming and basic editing with common software or phones
• Ability to write and create engaging visual content for SME audiences
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and content distribution
• Attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage several projects
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and with clients and partners
• Interest in fintech, SME financing or financial services is an advantage; education in communications, marketing, media production or a related field is preferred
