Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

About the role

Talent Gaze is looking for a part-time Senior Marketing Communications Specialist in Yaounde, working in a hybrid setup with some flexibility for work from home. The specialist develops and implements marketing communication plans that support brand awareness, stakeholder engagement and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and refine messaging across multiple channels
• Prepare press releases and other media materials
• Coordinate public relations activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to keep strategic communications consistent
• Monitor campaign performance and adjust content and tactics based on feedback and results
• Maintain relationships with media contacts
• Support leadership with communication materials for events, announcements and initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Prior experience in marketing, communications or related roles is preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage several projects and meet deadlines in a hybrid setting
