Head of People & Talent (Director of HR)

About the role

Maviance PLC is seeking a Head of People & Talent to join the senior leadership team and drive the creation of high‑performance teams across its fintech operations in Cameroon and the CEMAC region. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape talent acquisition, retention and empowerment strategies that support rapid scaling and a culture of innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a people & talent strategy aligned with Maviance’s vision and growth objectives.
• Implement recruitment, employee development and management systems and processes to support scaling.
• Strengthen Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives to ensure an inclusive workplace.
• Advise leadership on employment law compliance and introduce HR best practices.
• Oversee compensation, performance goal‑setting, learning & development, and talent acquisition programs.
