HR Intern – Talent Acquisition Support

About the role
We are looking for a motivated HR Intern to join our talent acquisition team in Yaounde. This internship provides hands‑on experience across the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to supporting onboarding. You will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers in a professional environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and publish job advertisements on multiple platforms.
- Screen applications, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interview schedules.
- Communicate with candidates about application status via email and phone.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) or recruitment database.
- Assist with background verification, reference checks, and preparation of offer letters.
- Support onboarding documentation for new hires.
- Take minutes during recruitment meetings and perform other administrative HR tasks.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
- Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and ability to work independently.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar job board tools (optional).
