HR Intern – Talent Acquisition Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated HR Intern to join our talent acquisition team in Yaounde. The role offers hands‑on experience across the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to supporting onboarding, within a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and publish job advertisements on multiple platforms.
• Screen applications, shortlist candidates and coordinate interview schedules.
• Communicate with candidates about application status via email and phone.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system or recruitment database.
• Assist with background verification, reference checks and preparation of offer letters.
• Support onboarding documentation for new hires and take minutes during recruitment meetings.
• Perform other administrative HR tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
• Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Basic knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter or other job boards.
