Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the development and execution of the company's HR policy, aligning it with strategic objectives. This role ensures the growth of human capital, optimises employee performance, and fosters a work environment that drives engagement and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and continuously improve the overall HR policy and procedures.
• Develop talent management and skills development strategies, overseeing recruitment and employee development.
• Support managers in building high‑performing teams and handling performance management.
• Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with the Cameroonian Labour Code.
• Supervise employment contracts, personnel files, disciplinary actions, and monitor absences, leave and personnel movements.
• Manage internal HR communication, promote company values, and ensure employee well‑being and engagement.
• Produce HR dashboards, track key indicators (turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, performance) and report regularly.
• Handle conflicts, propose solutions and ensure consistent application of internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (4‑5 years) in Human Resources Management, Labour Law, Work Psychology, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with a legal background.
• Strong knowledge of Cameroonian labour law and experience in performance and talent management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, make decisions and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Fluent English; French is an asset.

Required skills

• HRIS (Human Resources Information System) proficiency.
• Experience with HR tools and office software.
• Payroll management expertise.
• Ability to develop HR policies and procedures.
