Junior Business Developer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, results‑oriented Junior Business Developer to join our growing organization in Yaoundé. The role focuses on creating new business opportunities, acquiring and managing partners, and supporting the commercial growth of our finance‑focused services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new merchants, clients, and business partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Follow up on partnerships to ensure continued engagement.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to market expansion.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Conduct field visits and commercial activities as required.
• Monitor client and partner needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Prepare regular reports on business development activities and results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related commercial role.
• Professional experience in the finance sector, preferably in FinTech, digital payments, banking, or financial services.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Willingness to travel for field activities within Yaoundé.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable using AI tools and digital platforms.
• Knowledge of CRM systems (advantageous).
• Strong ability to negotiate, sell, and develop partnerships.
