Key Account Manager - West & Central Africa (French Speaker)

About the role

Kerry, a global taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, is looking for a Key Account Manager for its Francophone Africa business. Reporting to the Commercial Director for Francophone Africa, you will develop and drive ingredient sales across the West and Central zone (6 countries) with a portfolio of industrial key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and retain a portfolio of key accounts (food manufacturers).
• Promote and sell the B2B ingredient range (flavours, emulsifiers, seasoning systems).
• Prospect and open new markets across the 6 countries of the zone.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and defend margin.
• Work with technical and R&D teams to provide tailor-made customer solutions.
• Handle reporting, sales forecasting and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Around 10 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in food ingredients or the food industry.
• Fluent French and professional English required.
• Autonomous, field-oriented and mobile.
• A commercial and/or technical background (food, process engineering, food science) is appreciated.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of the food industry (formulation and product application a plus).
• Strong key-account, negotiation and margin acumen.
