Manager - VP Digital Services GTM and Experience Design

About the role

MTN Cameroon is seeking a senior leader to drive the go‑to‑market (GTM) and experience design of its digital services portfolio, covering media, entertainment and e‑commerce. The role combines strategic planning, cross‑functional execution and people management to achieve adoption, penetration and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and refining digital services strategies for media, entertainment and e‑commerce.
• Provide direction, structure and business plans to ensure effective implementation of those strategies.
• Source, induct and manage talent in line with legislative guidelines.
• Define roles, responsibilities, individual goals and KPIs for the team and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Develop and deliver training plans to build team capabilities.
• Lead cross‑functional meetings, report progress to the Segment Senior Manager and address challenges.
• Promote a partnership approach with other working groups and ensure compliance with Group governance.
• Participate actively in the leadership team and drive project‑team targets and deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading digital services or GTM initiatives within a telecom or media environment.
• Strong people‑leadership skills, including talent acquisition, performance management and team development.
• Ability to communicate openly, manage change and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting adoption and revenue objectives.
