Operations Manager

About the role

Yiino is scaling urban mobility in Africa and is seeking an Operations Manager for its Yaoundé market. You will own the strategy and execution that drives rider and driver growth, build high‑value partnerships and lead a local operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies to acquire, engage and retain drivers while meeting growth and revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain analytical models, dashboards and reporting to monitor business health and identify opportunities.
• Forge and nurture relationships with drivers, fleet owners, regulators, government officials and community leaders.
• Collaborate with USA‑HQ functions (Growth Analytics, Expansion, Marketing, Product, Regulatory, Customer Success) to align priorities and launch market‑specific initiatives.
• Lead, coach and inspire a high‑performing operations team across Cameroon.
• Identify market trends, risks and improvement areas to keep Yiino ahead of competition.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of operations or general management experience, including at least 2 years in a fast‑paced tech or internet company.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to use data for decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and French.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams and cross‑functional projects.
