Physics Teacher

About the role

The Physics Teacher will deliver high‑quality physics instruction to secondary‑school students, fostering scientific knowledge, practical skills, and personal development in line with Enko Education’s curriculum and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons tailored to student levels and abilities.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, practical activities and assessments.
• Teach physics concepts clearly using appropriate methodologies and practical demonstrations.
• Conduct laboratory experiments while ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
• Assess student learning, provide constructive feedback, and track academic progress.
• Identify students needing additional support and implement interventions.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, assessments and student progress.
• Participate in departmental, staff meetings and school activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and learning.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and other school initiatives when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physics or Science Education.
• Relevant teaching qualification or certification (advantageous or required where applicable).
• Previous teaching experience, preferably at secondary‑school level.
• Good knowledge of physics curriculum and assessment methods.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and equal‑opportunity principles.
