Research Associate

About the role

Fishboard, a private education and research company based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, is looking for two Research Associates to support its training programmes and research activities. The position works both on‑site and remotely and requires fluency in French and English.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the manager and complete on‑the‑job training.
• Monitor class attendance and assist in enrolling new tutees/clients.
• Participate in building training programmes and implementing communication strategies.
• Support statistical analysis and contribute to writing scientific manuscripts.

Required profile

• Academic background: MSc in Public Health, Epidemiology, or Biostatistics.
• No mandatory professional experience; experience with MS Office, especially Excel, is a plus.
• Bilingual language skills (fluent in one language, operational in the other).
• Personal traits: reliable, proactive, critical thinker.
