Pool Market Developer

About the role

The Fondation pour la Natation Inclusive is looking for a full-time, hybrid Pool Market Developer based in Yaoundé, Douala, Buea and Limbe, with the option to do some work from home. The role identifies, develops and manages partnerships with pools, schools, community centers, local organizations and individuals to expand accessible swimming programs. It involves regular on-site visits to partner locations alongside remote planning, documentation and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Map and analyze potential pool locations
• Meet with stakeholders and negotiate collaboration agreements
• Support the rollout of inclusive swimming initiatives
• Gather and analyze field data and prepare reports on program performance
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve outreach strategies

Required profile

• Experience in community outreach, partnership development or market development, preferably in education, sports or social impact sectors
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and French, able to present to internal teams and external partners
• Comfort working in a hybrid setup, working independently and in a team
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, child and adult safety and equitable access to programs
• Relevant academic background in business, social sciences, sports management, public administration or a related field is an asset; previous non-profit experience and familiarity with swimming or aquatic programs are a plus
