Senior Patient Services Manager – Dietitian

About the role

Lead inpatient food and nutrition operations for a large acute‑care hospital, overseeing 75–100 employees. Partner with the Assistant and Director of Food Service to drive patient satisfaction, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement patient food service goals based on medical direction and patient population.
• Hire, train, and supervise a high‑performing nutrition team.
• Manage allergen control, menu maintenance, and compliance with IDDSI standards.
• Utilize MyDining software for patient meal ordering and tracking.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure nutrition interventions meet patient needs.
• Monitor budget, inventory, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide weekend coverage as business needs dictate.

Required profile

• Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration).
• Experience in a large healthcare system, preferably acute‑care.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
• Knowledge of IDDSI, MyDining, and allergen management.
• Strong focus on patient satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
