About the role

This is an on‑site, contract position for a Senior Researcher and Team Leader based in Mayo Sahel. The role focuses on designing and executing research projects, setting clear objectives and ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute research projects, define objectives and monitor progress.
• Guide, mentor and coordinate daily activities of team members across disciplines.
• Analyze data, prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations and maintain research quality standards.
• Manage project resources, contribute to long‑term research strategy and drive innovation at Complexia.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading research projects, including planning, execution and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams, delegate tasks and support professional development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience in data collection, analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information to varied audiences.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, social sciences) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work effectively on‑site in Mayo Sahel and collaborate with cross‑functional partners.
