Shop Floor Staff – Sales (Douala)

About the role

We are seeking a flexible, hardworking and sales‑oriented Shop Floor Staff member to join our client’s team in Douala. The role involves creating a welcoming environment for customers, assisting them throughout their shopping journey, and supporting daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the shop each day, ensuring it is clean, organized and presentable.
• Perform routine cleaning duties to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Greet customers warmly, understand their needs and guide them in product selection.
• Make product recommendations and actively upsell to enhance the customer experience.
• Assist customers during payment and checkout processes.
• Provide post‑sale support, escorting customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and security.
• Support stock management by conducting regular inventory checks, receiving and verifying deliveries, and organizing merchandise.

Required profile

• Hardworking and self‑motivated.
• Sales‑oriented with a customer‑first attitude.
• Flexible and adaptable to daily tasks.
• Previous retail or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Preferred age range: mid‑20s to early‑30s.
