Store Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Store Manager leads all aspects of store performance, driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, you will represent the Hibbett brand and ensure smooth daily operations in the Kirksville location.

Key responsibilities

• Drive store sales and achieve defined sales goals.
• Oversee all store assets, inventory, expenses, and profitability.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate sales associates, assistant managers, and managers in training.
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and labor targets.
• Partner with Asset Protection to minimize shrink and secure store assets.
• Communicate inventory movement and collaborate on inventory strategies with the District Sales Manager.
• Implement marketing and advertising plans and stay aware of customer trends.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the store.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with district leadership.
• Ability to analyze sales data, inventory reports, and financial statements.
• Commitment to upholding company policies, standards, and brand image.
