Trust and Safety Analyst

About the role

The Trust and Safety Analyst will safeguard our platform by detecting, assessing, and mitigating harmful content and behavior. Working remotely, you will collaborate with product, engineering, policy and legal teams to protect user well‑being and uphold brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate complex safety reports including harassment, hate speech, misinformation, and illegal content.
• Apply and interpret internal policies with high accuracy, identifying gaps and recommending updates.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve detection tools and reduce harmful content at scale.
• Analyze data to uncover new abuse vectors such as spam, scams, and coordinated inauthentic behavior.
• Handle high‑priority escalations, law‑enforcement requests, and crisis situations with composure and privacy protection.
• Provide actionable insights to Policy, Product, and Legal teams based on emerging trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or Intelligence Analysis within tech or social‑media environments.
• Proven ability to make rapid, high‑stakes decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong emotional intelligence and self‑care strategies for exposure to disturbing content.
• Excellent written English and ability to explain policy decisions clearly.
• Experience handling high‑pressure incidents such as abuse spikes or live‑stream crises.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Trust & Safety tools such as Salesforce and Jira.
• Experience with moderation dashboards and AI‑driven automation.
• Data analysis using Tableau, Looker, or basic SQL.
