About the role

The Solar Consultant will join TakuEnergy’s on‑site team in Buea to drive the adoption of clean energy solutions. You will generate new business opportunities, educate prospects about solar technologies, and tailor proposals that meet each client’s unique needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify leads through market research, networking and outreach activities.
  • Conduct client consultations to explain solar power options, benefits and financing.
  • Prepare customized proposals, quotations and system designs.
  • Guide customers through the sales cycle from initial contact to installation hand‑over.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, product offerings and regulatory changes.
  • Provide post‑sale support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in the solar or broader renewable‑energy sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and acquire new clients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with adaptability to diverse customer requirements.
