Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will design and execute the company’s outbound sales and business development strategy across assigned markets. This role leads commercial operations, including sales, distribution, route‑to‑market execution, promotional activities, and team management to drive sustainable growth and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all sales and marketing activities across territories, driving product promotion, sales growth, and market penetration.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives, monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
• Manage product promotional campaigns, recruit promoters, and ensure strong product visibility and availability.
• Build and maintain an effective sales network of distributors, wholesalers, retailers, motorbike vendors, commercial reps, and field inspectors.
• Expand distribution network, define route‑to‑consumer strategies, and ensure efficient territory coverage.
• Identify new clients and market opportunities, set sales targets for distributors, and nurture long‑term customer relationships.
• Supervise the sales team, conduct performance reviews, set SMART objectives, and prepare regular sales performance reports.
• Participate in S&OP processes, prepare monthly sales forecasts, maintain partner information, and support achievement of the Annual Operating Plan.
