Project Associate – Reintegration (AVRR) – G5

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a Project Associate (Reintegration) at grade G5 to support Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) programmes in Cameroon. Working under the Chief of Mission, the National Reintegration Officer and the Senior Reintegration Associate, you will provide technical, administrative and operational assistance to ensure the smooth delivery of return and reintegration services.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome, inform and guide beneficiaries on return and reintegration options.
• Create and maintain individual beneficiary files, update databases and verify documentation.
• Monitor logistics and finance files, collect proof of funding and IOM service fees.
• Assist returnees in drafting business plans and navigating business registration, funding sources and potential challenges.
• Conduct field visits, support case management and ensure confidentiality of beneficiary data.
• Contribute to activity reporting, workshop organization and stakeholder information sessions.
• Stay updated on AVRR developments and share assessments with the Head of Unit.

Required profile

• University degree in International Relations, Law, Social, Political or Economic Sciences, Social Work, Migration studies or a related field.
• Experience in beneficiary support, case management or project implementation in migration or humanitarian contexts is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under supervision.
