Clinical Services Manager – Northwest Orthopedics

About the role

The Clinical Services Manager for Northwest Orthopedics will lead the delivery of high‑quality orthopedic patient care within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences network. Reporting to senior clinical leadership, this role ensures efficient operations, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement of service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations for the Northwest Orthopedics unit, including staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to maintain optimal care pathways.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with accreditation, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and manage budgets, track financial performance, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Lead quality‑improvement initiatives and data‑driven performance reviews.
• Facilitate staff development, training, and performance evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, nursing, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Proven experience managing clinical services in an orthopedic or similar specialty setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an academic medical environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety protocols.
