Freelance Behavioral Health Coach – Remote (Cameroon)

About the role

Join the telehealth platform Intellect as a freelance Behavioral Health Coach. You will deliver 30‑minute video sessions to support clients’ mental health and personal growth, working remotely with flexible business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1‑on‑1 telehealth coaching for sub‑clinical issues such as work stress, procrastination, work‑life balance, and relationship concerns.
• Help clients define personal, career, or relationship goals and create actionable plans.
• Collaborate with Intellect’s internal clinical team, offering feedback to improve the coaching program and platform.

Required profile

• Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification OR a Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.
• ICF coaches must have ≥200 coaching hours; counsellors must have ≥300 clinical hours post‑graduation.
• Proficiency in English and the local language (e.g., French or English for Cameroon).
• Prior experience in Employee Assistance Programs, adult counselling, or managerial coaching is preferred.

Required skills

• Coaching techniques and evidence‑based approaches (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy).
• International Coaching Federation certification.
