INGO Forum Team Leader (Yaounde)

About the role

The CHINGO platform, hosted by NRC Cameroon, is seeking an INGO Forum Team Leader to ensure continuity of its humanitarian activities in Cameroon. Based in Yaounde, the role will coordinate the annual workplan, facilitate collaboration among members and key humanitarian stakeholders, and represent CHINGO in various forums.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with CHINGO, host agency, donor and coordination policies and standards.
• Support planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of activities aligned with CHINGO’s workplan and strategic objectives.
• Coordinate implementation of the annual workplan, organize meetings, working groups and field‑level engagements.
• Monitor humanitarian developments, conduct analysis and support collective advocacy initiatives.
• Represent CHINGO in humanitarian forums, coordination platforms, donor engagements and external meetings.
• Produce and disseminate reports, situation updates, analyses, advocacy products, newsletters and other communication materials.
• Assist in managing workplans, budgets, procurements, consultants and other resources in line with CHINGO and host agency procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to CHINGO staff, members and partners as required.

Required profile

• University degree in International Relations, Political Science, Project Management, Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in humanitarian coordination, programme management, advocacy, policy or related areas.
• Proven experience coordinating with stakeholders in humanitarian contexts and drafting reports, briefing notes and advocacy materials.
• Demonstrated ability to manage activities, budgets and workplans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Strong networking and representation abilities.
