Outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology Dietitian

About the role

The Outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology Dietitian will join a collaborative, fun RD team at the Eastern Maine Medical Endocrinology Clinic. You will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education to children and families in a busy outpatient setting, helping improve health outcomes through evidence‑based nutrition care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for pediatric endocrine patients.
• Deliver nutrition and lifestyle education to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply the latest research and follow diet manuals, company policies, and facility protocols.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Collaborate with the food service management team to support patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentor dietetic interns and support staff development.

Required profile

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
• Current state licensure as a dietitian.
• Experience in outpatient clinical nutrition, preferably pediatric endocrinology.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday schedule with no weekend coverage.
