Part-Time Registered Dietitian – Appleton, WI

About the role

TouchPoint is seeking a part‑time Registered Dietitian to join the clinical nutrition team at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Appleton, WI. The role involves delivering evidence‑based medical nutrition therapy to hospitalized patients on a rotating schedule of approximately 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans for acute‑care patients.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition care into overall treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement (QAPI) and patient safety initiatives.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Support mentorship of dietetic interns and junior staff as needed.

Required profile

• Registered Dietitian (RDN) credential or eligibility for the Commission on Dietetic Registration exam.
• New graduates are welcome; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain a state license if required.
• Availability for a rotating weekend schedule and flexible weekday hours.
