Pathologist – Build & Lead Molecular Lab in Cameroon

About the role

Join X.PATH Labs in Yaoundé to shape the future of pathology in Central Africa. As a Pathologist you will help establish a world‑class reference centre for molecular pathology, introduce international quality standards and mentor the next generation of African pathologists.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement digital pathology, molecular diagnostics, immunohistochemistry and AI‑assisted workflows.
• Collaborate with international experts and partners such as Roche Diagnostics.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with global standards.
• Train and mentor junior pathologists and laboratory staff.
• Contribute to precision oncology programs that improve cancer care for thousands of patients.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification or equivalent in pathology.
• Strong commitment to innovation and capacity building in low‑resource settings.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Yaoundé and engage with multidisciplinary teams.
