About the role
Morrison Living is seeking a Senior Executive Chef to lead daily kitchen operations at its Indianapolis site. The role combines hands‑on culinary execution with team leadership, menu innovation, and financial stewardship.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, production, and presentation for resident and client meals.
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal ingredients, product availability, and customer preferences.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards, conducting regular inspections.
- Control food and labor costs to meet monthly budget targets.
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Create decorative food displays and specialty dishes for special occasions.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an executive or senior chef in a large‑scale hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high‑performing culinary teams.
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and cost controls effectively.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality meals that enhance resident and client satisfaction.
