Senior Reintegration Associate – G7 (Yaounde)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Reintegration Associate to lead the implementation of EU‑funded reintegration activities for returnees in Cameroon. Reporting to the National Reintegration Officer and under the overall supervision of the MHPSS Officer and Chief of Mission, the incumbent will ensure timely, compliant, and effective delivery of the project.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the reintegration project in line with IOM policies, donor requirements, and EU guidelines.
• Establish and manage data‑collection mechanisms, overseeing classification and reporting by reintegration assistants.
• Develop, review, and implement reintegration procedures, forms, and monitoring tools.
• Set up and apply a robust M&E framework for the reintegration process.
• Support information management and collaborate with communication teams on visibility and awareness activities.
• Prepare progress reports and ensure regular information exchange with IOM, the EU, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in designing capacity‑building plans for governmental and NGOs.
• Supervise reintegration assistants in Yaounde and coordinate with local implementing partners.
• Participate in steering committees, seminars, and represent IOM at relevant events.
• Undertake site visits and duty travel as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Law, International Relations or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project coordination, monitoring & evaluation, or reintegration programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to work under supervision while taking ownership of tasks.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
