Service Delivery Manager – HIV Programs

About the role

The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) leads the planning, implementation and supervision of high‑quality HIV and TB/HIV prevention, testing, care and treatment services across EGPAF‑supported sites. Working closely with health workers, the Monitoring & Evaluation team and community partners, the SDM ensures that services are integrated, measurable and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee planning and implementation of HIV/TB‑HIV services for children, adolescents, adults and pregnant/lactating women in line with national guidelines.
• Provide ongoing technical supervision and capacity‑building for health personnel at project sites.
• Ensure availability and correct use of programming tools and standards of care across all sites.
• Support community‑based activities such as demand generation for ANC/PMTCT, community ART delivery and contact tracing.
• Deliver technical support for HIV testing, PMTCT, treatment adherence, gender‑based violence response, supply‑chain and laboratory services.
• Participate in monitoring, evaluation and quality‑assurance processes, tracking key performance indicators.
• Liaise with district health officials, community leaders and civil‑society partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing HIV or related health programs.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to train, coach and mentor health workers.
• Experience with health‑system strengthening and community engagement.
• Familiarity with national HIV guidelines and integrated service delivery.
